Amelia Mae Saulmon, 101, Corydon, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Oct. 27, 1913, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late William and Esther Spellman.
She was formerly employed at Wenning’s Packing Co. in Central Barren, the old Indiana Army Ammunition Plant near Charlestown and Joe Lees Bakery in Corydon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Wolfe and Manuel Saulmon; two sons, James Edward and Stanley Saulmon; four sisters; and a brother.
Survivors include three daughters, Kay Fessel of Depauw, June Bruce of Central Barren and Terry Engleman of Corydon; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, Feb. 20, from noon to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 21, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Feb. 21, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Mary Hambley Wendelin.
Pallbearers: Steve and Alan Fessel, Stewart Bruce and Stu, Zach and Nick Engleman.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Corydon Christian Church ‘ Disciples of Christ.
