David O. Johnson, 93, Salina, Kan., died Friday, Jan. 30, 2015.
Born May 8, 1921, in English, he was the son of the late James and Minnie Harmon Johnson.
He retired from the Air Force as a master sergeant and was founder and owner of Dave’s Maintenance Service and Sales.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Johnson; two brothers, Garland and Marvin Johnson; and a sister, Faith Millinder.
Survivors include four children, Judith Courtney and David O. Johnson Jr., both of Salina, Sallie Truitt of Wichita, Kan., and Anita Ryerson of Wellington, Fla.; a sister, Juanita Byerly of Joshua Tree, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial service: Monday, Feb. 9, at 10 a.m. at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel in Salina, Kan.
