Daniel F. Adams

Daniel Francis Adams, 95, Depauw, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, at his home.
Born Aug. 13, 1919, at Depauw, he was the son of the late David F. and Lillie M. Henriott Adams.
He was a former bus driver for North Harrison Community School Corp. for 32 years, a retired farmer and a member of Unity Chapel United Methodist Church.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary Kay Bush; three sons, David, Danny and Joe Adams; two brothers, James and Frank Adams; and four sisters, Annabell Applegate, Henrietta Adams, Elizabeth Churchill and Mary Lillian Adams.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Adams of Chattanooga, Tenn., and John Adams of Depauw; seven daughters, Sue Fessel, Ann Baker and Jane Whittaker, all of Depauw, Sheila McIntyre and Lura Byrd, both of Georgetown, Louetta Roll of Salem and Linda Swaney of Corydon; 31 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, Nov. 24, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 25, after 10 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery near Depauw.
