Vicki Elaine Engleman, 64, Corydon, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, at her home after a battle with heart disease for nearly four years.
Born Aug, 21, 1950, in Harrison County, she was the daughter the late John Merle and Vivian June Lee Mott.
She was retired from the South Harrison Community School Corp., was a current member of the South Harrison Community School Corp. Board of Trustees and was a member of the Corydon Central High School Adult Booster Club and Bethany United Methodist Church in New Middletown.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and George Mott, and a sister, Shirley Ruble.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Richard C. (Dick) Engleman; two sons, Craig E. Engleman and Joshua L. Engleman, both of Corydon; a daughter, Jennie J. Capelle of Corydon; two brothers, Bob and Jerome Mott; two sisters, Susie Plunkett and Jennie Wright; and five grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, Nov. 20, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon and Friday, Nov. 21, after 9 a.m. at Corydon United Methodist Church.
Funeral: Friday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m. at the church with burial in Bethany Cemetery in New Middletown.
Officiant: Pastor Steve McAfee.
Pallbearers: Larry Shickles, Nathan Luallen, Travis Mott, Eric Rowland, Taylor Wolfe and Austin Walls.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Vicki Engleman Memorial Scholarship Fund.
