Elizabeth Galloway Tuley, 96, Elizabeth, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, at Kindred Sellersburg Health and Rehab Center.
Born April 18, 1918, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Florence Woodfill Galloway.
She was a homemaker and first attended Faith Assembly Church in Jeffersonville then Rogers Campground Church in Elizabeth and finally the church at Kindred.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rondal Tuley; a daughter, Pamela Garrison; four brothers, Presley, Ernest, William and Edward Galloway; three sisters, Lucille Galloway, Thelma Hyde and Mildred Bauer; and a grandson, Charles Weathers Jr.
Survivors include two sons, William Tuley of Jeffersonville and Ray Tuley of Elizabeth; three daughters, Rhonda McKenney of Hurricane, W.Va., Marsha Gieseler of Jeffersonville and Paula Weathers of Corydon; a brother, Poin Galloway of Milledgeville, Ga.; a sister, Florence Humes of Blacksburg, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, Oct. 10, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Saturday after 10 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home in Corydon with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth.
Officiants: Her nephew, the Rev. Timothy Humes, and Pastor Ray Tuley.
