Audrey J. Motsinger

Audrey Jewell Motsinger, 94, Salem, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Aug. 17, 1920, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late James Alva and Hazel Hoggatt Kay.
She was a member of Pekin Church of Christ and Sweet Adelines and a former employee of LaGene’s and Ray’s Jewelers.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kent Motsinger; two brothers, Dwight and James Kay; two sisters, Mary Herle and Roberta Motsinger; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Ashabraner of Oklahoma City, Brenda Baker of Corydon and Mariann McKenzie of Cave City, Ark.; a brother, Byron Kay of Sun City, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, Sept. 14, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 15, after 9 a.m. at Weathers Funeral Home in Salem.
Funeral: Monday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem.
