Darrell E. Smith

Darrell Edward (Dub) Smith, 55, Ramsey, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014.
Born May 17, 1959, at Corydon, he was the son of the late Russell E. and Mary Rita Richmer Smith.
He was a former employee of Smith Store Fixture near Depauw and a Catholic.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Rusty Smith, and a sister, Darlene Marie Davis.
Survivors include his wife, the former Kathy Marie Shipley; a son, Jeremy Smith of Ramsey; three daughters, Ashley McGuire of Greenville, LexAnn Kaiser of Laconia and Samantha Smith of Elizabeth; two brothers, Robert W. and Gary Lee Smith, both of Ramsey; a sister, Diana K. Prechtel of Ramsey; and three grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with cremation to follow.
