Hilda L. Bowman

Hilda L. Sarles Bowman, 90, Milltown, died Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Dec. 16, 1923, near Milltown, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Stella Vance Sarles.
She was a former assembler at the ICI Army Ammunition near Charlestown and a member of Milltown Christian Church.
Survivors include four sons, Michael Bowman of Gallatin, Tenn., Lynn Bowman of Edinburgh, Donnie Bowman of Marengo and Tim Bowman of Williston, S.C.; a sister, Mable Jones of Milltown; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, Aug. 3, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 4, after 9 a.m. at Milltown Christian Church.
Funeral: Monday, Aug. 4, at 11 a.m. at the church with interment in Milltown Cemetery.
Officiant: Brother Delvin Sweeney.
Arrangements: Brown Funeral Home in Milltown.
