John (Elvis) Huffman, 70, Mauckport, died Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Feb. 25, 1944, in Mauckport, he was the son of the late John S. and Anna M. Shireman Huffman.
He was a retired truck driver for the old Hudson Foods and ARPAC, both in Corydon, and a member of Mount Zion Community Church near Mauckport.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha A. Huffman Heishman; two brothers, Jimmy and Roy Huffman; and two sisters, Mary Lynch and Barbara Brown.
Survivors include his wife, the former Rebecca S. Bullock; a daughter, Angela M. Huffman of Tell City; two brothers, Paul Huffman of Mauckport and Kenny Huffman of Corydon; two sisters, Helen Nance of Milltown and Sharon Paris of Mauckport; and six grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, July 28, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon and Tuesday, July 29, after 11 a.m. at Mount Zion Community Church near Mauckport.
Funeral: Tuesday, July 29, at 2 p.m. at the church with burial in Hyland Cemetery near Mauckport.
Officiant: The Rev. Gilbert Duley.
Pallbearers: Paul and Kenny Huffman, Richard and Wesley Best, Lawrence Weatherly, Tim Kingsley, Ivan Paris Jr. and Roger Wooten.
Honorary pallbearers: Stanley Kingsley and Larry Hanka.
