Patricia L. Ater

Patricia L. Ater, 77, Hardinsburg, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014.
She worked at Kimball’s at Borden for 20 years as a sprayer and cabinet assembler, was a homemaker and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in New Salisbury.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael Albert Davis and Etta Lee Davis; a brother, Michael Davis; a great-granddaughter, Ariel Renae Ater-Prosser; and her husband, William W. Ater Jr.
Survivors include two sons, William W. III and Joseph Ater, both of Hardinsburg; a daughter, Peggy G. Sewell of Clayton, Ga.; two sisters, Judy Stevens of Lexington, Ky., and Joetta Davis of Florida; a brother, Buddy Lee Davis of San Diego; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, July 18, from noon to 2 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral: Friday, July 18, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with interment in Kay’s Chapel Cemetery near Fredericksburg.
