Paul S. Sawyers

Paul S. Sawyers, 69, Warner Robins, Ga., died Sunday, July 13, 2014, at his home.
Born in Pineville, Ky., he was the son of the late Edgar and Lydia Hoskins Sawyers.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam conflict, retired as an animal care specialist from Mercer University in Macon and attended Bonaire United Methodist Church.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Wayne Sawyers.
Survivors include his wife, the former Virginia R. Stepro Kintner; a son, Paul David Sawyers of Pennington, Va.; two daughters, Loretta Seacat and Melva G. Sullivant, both of Warner Robins; a sister, Marie Langston of Virginia; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, July 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Warner Robins.
Funeral: Thursday, July 17, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with entombment in the Parkway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
