Robert M. Buzzee Sr.

Robert Mark (Bob) Buzzee Sr., 70, Laconia, died Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Oct. 28, 1943, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Milo and Eleanor Baumgartner Buzzee.
He was a retired program manager at the old Naval Ordnance Station in Louisville, a member of the American Legion and American Legion Riders Post No. 42 in Floyds Knobs and the Indiana Patriot Guard and a Navy veteran.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary (Charlotte) Head, and a sister, Sandra Clark.
Survivors include two sons, Robert M. (Mark) Buzzee Jr. of Laconia and Michael H. Buzzee of Corydon; two daughters, Alisa (Michelle) Buttiglieri of Elizabeth and Markeeta Cox of Elizabeth City, N.C.; two brothers, David H. Buzzee of Columbus, Ohio, and Donald W. Buzzee of Matthews, N.C.; a sister, Myla L. Dinger of Kaleva, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and his fianc’, Dawn Linne of New Albany.
Visitation: Thursday, June 26, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Friday, June 27, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, June 27, at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the donor’s favorite children’s charity.
