Donald E. Arnold

Donald E. Arnold, 75, Ramsey, died Friday, May 16, 2014.
Born Dec. 1, 1938, at Depauw, he was the son of the late Ollie and Anna Iona Hannel Arnold.
He was a former member of the Indiana National Guard, former owner and past president of R.P.C. in New Salisbury, a former member of the Ramsey Volunteer Fire Dept. and member of Ramsey Lions Club and Unity Chapel United Methodist Church near Ramsey.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clement Arnold, and a sister, Frances M. Chinn.
Survivors include his wife, the former Darlene J. Dear; two daughters, Donna J. Jacobi of Carmel and Danita Jo Mosey of Indianapolis; five brothers, John F. Arnold of New Salisbury, Oliver J. Jr. and Russell L. Arnold, both of Corydon, George E. Arnold of Depauw and Merrill J. Arnold of Indianapolis; a sister, Ruth E. Eaton of Ramsey; and two grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, May 18, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Monday, May 19, after 9 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Monday, May 19, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Woods Chapel Cemetery at Ramsey.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Unity Chapel United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
