Florence M. Baker, 90, Corydon, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
Born Sept. 2, 1923, in New Castle, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Myrtle Sage Badger.
She was retired from McCrory’s Dept. Store in Bradenton, Fla., and a member of Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene in Corydon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence F. Baker; four brothers, Lester, Sylvester, Elmer and Chester Badger; and two sisters, Pearl White and Bertha Lutton.
Survivors include three sons, Harold Baker of Byrdstown, Tenn., Larry Baker of Bethlehem, Ga., and Ralph Baker of Corydon; a daughter, Cheryl Baker-Farrow of Laconia; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, May 19, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
The family suggests memorial gifts to her church.
