Irma K. Ament

Irma Kathleen (Kay) Ament, 92, Louisville, formerly of Central, died Saturday, May 3, 2014.
Born Oct. 3, 1922, in Central, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Nora Cunningham.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jon E. (Jack) Ament; three brothers, Corda, C. Ruel and Charles; and two sisters, Mary Carpenter and Mildred Carver.
Survivors include three nephews, Clarence and Rowland (Short) Cunningham and C. Steven Carver; four nieces, Rhonda Day, Kathy Backherms, Kimberly Wetzel and Lori Carver; and 13 great-nephews and nieces.
Visitation: Friday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home in Louisville.
Funeral: Friday, May 9, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Resthaven Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Dave Fowler.
Pallbearers: Brandon Jones, Chad Backherms, Tim Carver, Jay Hanavar, Greg Popp II and Jeff Wade.
