Pearl Catherine Trebing, 86, Corydon, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Kindred Transitional Care ‘ Corydon.
Born April 30, 1927, in New Albany, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Geneva McNutt Hammett.
She was retired as head cashier for the A&P Store and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Nancy Stewart and Mike Trebing, and four brothers Ed, Mark, Patrick and George Hammett.
Survivors include a son, Nick Trebing of Beech Grove; two brothers, David Hammett of Jeffersonville and Larry Hammett of Louisville; a sister, Sue Summers of Clarksville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial service: Saturday, May 31, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon with burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery in New Albany.
Arrangements: Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
