Norman W. Myers
Norman Wade Myers, 83, Hardinsburg, died Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, at 5:05 a.m. at his home.
Born Nov. 3, 1930, in Lavonia, he was the son of the late Victor Myers and Edith Wade Myers.
He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, a retired construction laborer and a member of Palmyra Baptist Church and Fredericksburg Masonic Lodge.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Tanksley, and two brothers, Bob and Donnie Myers.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, the former Mary Mae Doan; a daughter, Cathy Ann Denuzio of Florence Ky.; two sons, Bobby Wade Myers and N. Brian Myers, both of Hardinsburg; a sister, Marilyn Archer of Paoli; a brother, Roger Myers of Nashville, Tenn.; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. at McAdams Mortuary in Paoli.
Funeral: Thursday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. at the mortuary with burial in Hardinsburg Cemetery.
Officiant: Brother Jack Rumley.
