Ralph D. Wiseman, 85, Corydon, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born May 24, 1928, in Mauckport, he was the son of the late Claude and Ella Carver Wiseman.
He was a farmer, truck driver and logger and a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church near Corydon.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Steven Dale Wiseman, and a sister, Mary Ferne Wiseman.
Survivors include his wife, the former Ruby F. Watson; a daughter, Betty Jo Davis of Corydon; a son, Ronnie Wiseman of Mauckport; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, Feb. 14, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 15, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Feb. 15, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Corydon.
Officiants: The Revs. Scott Blessitt and Jim Higdon officiated.
Pallbearers: Bub Albin, David Wallace, Earl Hood, Tony Combs, Bob Bradley and Scott Jones.
Honorary pallbearers: Phil Simpson and Glenn Franks.
