Charles R. Williams

Charles Robert (Rob) Williams, 63, Corydon, died Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at his home.
Born April 6, 1950, in Corydon, he was the son of Montarose Froman Jenkins of Corydon and the late Hewitt Williams.
He was formerly employed at Norfolk Southern Railway and Jeffboat in Jeffersonville, was a millwright with Millwright Union Local No. 1031 in Louisville and was a member of Crawford Consolidated United Methodist Church near Leavenworth.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by stepfather, Nyle Jenkins, and two brothers, Jerry Wayne Williams and Richard Scott Williams.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife of 37 years, the former Priscilla L. Haggard; a son, Josh Williams of Leavenworth; and two grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, Jan. 26, from noon to 8 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 27, after 9 at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Monday, Jan. 27, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Leavenworth Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers: Adam Williams, Dallas Bullington, Mark Draper, Jerry Summers, Jim Lahue and Andrew Haggard.
