Sally B. Kessler

Sally B. Kessler, 86, Corydon, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
Born Feb. 12, 1927, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Nellie Bowman Weihe.
She was a former employee of the old Chic-A-Lay eggs and was a member and past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Old Capitol Aerie No. 2794 Ladies Auxiliary in Corydon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy R. Kessler; a son, Grant Sturgeon; and a sister, Carolyn Nalley.
Survivors include two sons, Ernest L. Keith of Floyds Knobs and Richard Kessler of Corydon; a daughter, Judy Jeffries of Palmyra; a sister, Martha Sebree of Louisville; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, Jan. 17, from 11 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 18, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Jan. 18, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Central Barren Cemetery.
