Warren E. Walton

Warren E. (Red) Walton, 88, Depauw, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
Born Jan. 6, 1925, in Milltown, he was the son of the late Albert and Emma Trobaugh Walton.
He was a World War II Army veteran, a former employee of General Electric in Louisville, a former commander of the Milltown American Legion Post 332. and a former firefighters for the Milltown Volunteer Fire Dept.
Survivors include his wife, the former Ruth Dinklocker; a son, Mark Walton of Milltown; three daughters, Peggy Pickerill of Corydon, Mary Ann Heuglin of Milltown and Tamera Austin of New Albany; a brother, Robert Walton of Ottawa, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, Jan. 2, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Friday, Jan. 3, after 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Milltown.
Funeral: Friday, Jan. 3, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with interment in Milltown Cemetery.
Officiant: Brother Chris Brown.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Heart Association.
