Holidays prompt early deadlines
O’Bannon Publishing Co. will close two Wednesdays, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, in observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day, respectively, prompting early deadlines for the Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 issues of The Corydon Democrat and Clarion News.
For the Dec. 25 issue of both newspapers, engagements, weddings, anniversaries and birth announcements should be in the office by 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19. The deadline for letters to the editor and legal advertising for both newspapers is noon that day.
Copy for church events, homemakers, reunions, 4-H, military and other upcoming events for both papers should be in the office by 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20.
All classifieds, classified display advertising, display advertising and auctions should be in the office by noon Friday, Dec. 20, for the Clarion News and by 5 p.m. that day for The Corydon Democrat.
News and photographs for the Clarion News should be in the office by noon Friday, Dec. 20.
The deadline for news and photographs for The Corydon Democrat is noon Monday, Dec. 23.
