Avonelle Raisor, 78, Corydon, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
Born May 19, 1935, in Shelburn, she was the daughter of the late James and Rhea Davison Pearison.
She was a housekeeper at various nursing homes and a member of the Apostolic faith.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hannibal Cleveland Raisor; a son, Donald Raisor; a brother, Gerald Pearison; a sister, Lorraine Nichols; and a granddaughter, Seana Bussiere.
Survivors include four children, Shelley Cooley of Salem and Darrell and Jeff Raisor and Lisa Moser, all of Corydon; nine grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, Oct. 21, from 2 to 8 and Tuesday, Oct. 22, after 9 a.m. at the Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Rick Franklin.
Pallbearers: Joshua Raisor, Jonathan Moser, Mike Cooley, Shawn Moser, Jeff Raisor Jr., Joseph Raisor, Tim Russell and Josh Singleton.
