Rebecca A. Dement

Rebecca Ann (Beckie) Dement, 62, Corydon, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Feb. 6, 1951, in New Albany, she was the daughter of Gene McDonald of New Albany and the late Wanda Jean King Heck.
She was employed at the Corydon Walmart Supercenter.
Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Cecil Heck, and a son, Mark Allen Logsdon.
Survivors in addition to her father include two sons, Rick Logsdon of Osceola and Shawn Logsdon of Richton, Miss.; two brothers, Terry Heck of Orlando, Fla., and Pete Heck of Georgetown; three sisters, Donna Jean Klinger of Memphis, Tenn., Linda Mings of Memphis, Ind., and Carolyn Sanders of Laurel, Miss.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 2, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
