Charles E. Washburn
Charles E. Washburn, 84, Corydon, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
Born Aug. 7, 1929, in Ontario, Calif., he was the son of the late George and Ruth Washburn.
He was retired from the Ford Motor Co. Kentucky Truck Plant and Dupont Chemical Co., both in Louisville.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Elizabeth Ann Jackson; a daughter, Ruth Ann Washburn; a son, Butch Washburn; and three sisters, Katherine Lewis, Lucille Moss and Loudean Manley.
Survivors include two daughters, Cathy Feller of Depauw and Margaret Land of Clarksville; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, Sept. 27, from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 29, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Sunday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery near Crandall.
Officiant: The Rev. Rick Utz.
