Ronald C. Mann Sr.
Ronald Carson Mann Sr., 70, Corydon, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Jan. 6, 1943, in New Albany, he was the son of the late Leon and Olga (Christine) Snyder Mann.
He was a retired welder/pipefitter, a former forester/timber buyer, a past president of the Louisville National Farmers Organization and a member of the Pipefitters/Plumbers Union in Louisville and Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene in Corydon.
Survivors include his wife, the former Sandra Sue Cunningham; two sons, Ronald C. Mann Jr. of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Rick L. Mann of Thomasville, Ga.; two brothers, Marvin D. Mann of Louisville and Vernon D. Mann of Corydon; a sister, Sandra M. Johnson of Corydon; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Visitation: Friday, Sept. 13, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon and Saturday, Sept. 14, after 9 a.m. at Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m. at the church with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Scott Olson will officiate.
Pallbearers: Gerald Kopp Jr., Dennis Voyles, Ken Walker, Bob Fried, Victor Fleace and Gary Brown.
The family suggests memorial gifts to his church.
