Lloyd A. Teeter

Lloyd A. Teeter, 62, Palmyra, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, at 6:04 p.m. at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Nov. 2, 1950, he was the son of Margaret Stalcup Teeter of New Albany.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amanda Teeter.
He was a retired appliance technician and a member of St. John’s Pentecostal Church at Georgetown.
Survivors besides his mother include his wife of 15 years, the former Virginia (Kay) Riggle; six daughters, Patty Flannery of Louisville, Missy Highbaugh of Lanesville, Angie South and Cindy Cotton, both of Paoli, MeLinda Teeter of Orleans and Christina Goodwin of Hardinsburg; two sons, Robert Higginbotham of Palmyra and Lloyd Teeter Jr. of Paoli; a sister Linda Crecelius of Paoli; a brother, Gary Teeter of Punta Gorda, Fla.; 27 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, Sept. 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. John’s Pentecostal Church at Georgetown.
Funeral: Saturday, Sept. 14, at the church in with burial in the church cemetery.
Officiant: Brother Jesse Breeding.
Arrangements: McAdams Mortuary in Paoli.
