The Rev. Ann F. Letson

The Rev. Ann Forrest Anderson Letson, 72, Corydon, formerly of Louisville, died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, at her home after a long illness.
A Louisville native, she attended Atherton High School, Spalding College and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. She was a Presbyterian minister, including serving as parish associate at Corydon Presbyterian Church, and recently retired as manager of clinical pastoral education with Norton Healthcare and had worked professionally in Spartanburg, S.C., and Winston-Salem, N.C., as well as Louisville. As a CPE supervisor, she was active on several regional and national committees with the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education. Before ordination, she served as staff associate at Highland Presbyterian Church for five years where she worked in Christian education and led the youth group on mission trips to Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis A. (Bill) and Mary Alice Anderson.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Ken; two daughters, Stephanie Letson and Carolyn Letson Boord; a sister, Carolyn Lowe; and four grandchildren.
Celebration of life: Saturday, Aug. 17, at 11 a.m. at Highland Presbyterian Church in Louisville followed by a reception and visitation in the church fellowship hall.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the James Graham Brown Cancer Center, the American Cancer Society or the memorial of the donor’s choice.
