James D. Kennedy

James D. (Tank) Kennedy, 48, Milltown, died Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, near Depauw due to injuries sustained in a motor-vehicle crash.
Born July 9, 1965, in Corydon, he was the son of Sue Ellen Roggenkamp Voyles of New Albany and the late James Owen Kennedy.
He was in maintenance at Berkshire Pointe mobile home park, served in the Army and was a member of the Milltown American Legion Post No. 332.
Survivors besides his mother include his fianc’e, Heather Biddle of Milltown; his stepfather, Alan Voyles of New Albany; a son, James Anthony Kennedy of Scottsburg; three daughters, Ashley Nicole Kennedy of Sanford, N.C., and Olivia Carrol and Scarlett Sullivan, both of Milltown; two brothers, Martin Kennedy of Marengo and Shawn Darrin Kennedy of Corydon; and a grandchild.
Visitation: Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Milltown.
Funeral: Tuesday, Aug. 6, at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen.
Officiant: Larry Crosby.
