Corydon football camp in July

The football coaching staffs from Corydon Central Junior and Senior High schools will offer a football camp for all incoming sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students at CCJHS the week of July 15 through 18 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Equipment (helmet and shoulder pads) will be issued from the main junior high entrance on Sunday evening, July 14, at 6 for all seventh and eighth graders. The incoming sixth graders will not wear equipment.
The camp features individual instruction, position drills and techniques along with speed and agility drills.
The cost is $25. Registration can be completed the night of equipment issue or the first evening of camp. There is a $10 deduction for each additional child a family enrolls. The fee includes instruction, T-shirt and handouts.
Each athlete must wear football shoes, shorts, T-shirt and gym socks underneath their football equipment. A mouthpiece will be provided to all campers the night of equipment issue.
The purpose of the camp is to develop strong character, discipline, teamwork and football skills in all aspects of the game. Coaches want each child to have the opportunity to improve through football.
