Volleyball clinic set for HS players

The YMCA of Harrison County will host a volleyball clinic for those students going into grades 9 through 12 from 9 a.m. to noon July 8 through 11.
This clinic, which will focus on individual skills as well as team offense and defense skills, will be instructed by Walter Pauly, the sports and aquatics director at the YMCA of Harrison County. Pauly has 20-plus years of coaching experience at the high school, college and club level.
The cost of the clinic will be $40 for YMCA of Harrison County members and $55 for non-YMCA of Harrison County members.
Participants should wear athletic clothing, tennis shoes and knee pads and bring a water bottle each day.
Registration is open until July 7.
Financial assistance is available, with support from the Harrison County Community Foundation and donors, for a variety of programs and membership at the YMCA of Harrison County. It is the Y’s pledge, within its available resources, to provide services to individuals regardless of ability to pay. Those unable to pay the full fee may apply to receive sliding-scale assistance through the Open Doors Financial Assistance program. Open Doors assistance is granted based on personal need, enrollment limitation and the Y’s financial resources.
For more information, contact Pauly by e-mail at [email protected] or call 734-0770.
YMCA of Harrison County members may register online at www.ymcaharrison.org.
