Theda I. Trusty


Theda I. Knight Trusty, 88, Corydon, formerly of West Fork, died Friday, May 31, 2013, at 6:15 p.m. at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Jan. 18, 1925, in Crawford County, she was the daughter of the late William Knight and Edith Austin.
She was a retired postmaster in West Fork, the owner/operator of Trusty Tires and a member of Bethel (Doolittle Mills) Christian Church and West Fork Homemakers Club.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Webster (Web) Trusty, on Dec. 6, 2012; an infant son; four brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include four children, Carol Faulkenburg, Linda Fogle and Steve Trusty, all of Corydon, and Michael Trusty of Marengo; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, June 2, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Monday, June 3, after 9 a.m. at Denbo Funeral Home in English.
Funeral: Monday, June 3, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Pleasant (Tick) Ridge Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Heart Association or Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
