Dennis Wayne Duke, 50, Corydon, died Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born April 17, 1963, in Corydon, he was the son of Donna Marie Briles Duke of Corydon and the late Gaylord Delbert Duke.
He was employed as a mechanic at Rick’s Service Center near Corydon.
Survivors besides his mother include two daughters, Yvonne Cox of Ramsey, and Rosetta Tanksley of Washington County; four brothers, Vincent Duke of English, David and Daniel Duke, both of Corydon, and Delbert Duke of Louisville; two sisters, Teresa Hughes and Donnetta Oates, both of Corydon; and five grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, June 3, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, June 4, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, June 4, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery near Corydon.
Officiants: The Revs. Lewis Smith and David Dicken.
Pallbearers: Lee Bryant, Sam Chinn, Johnny Rhodes, Richard Briles, Michael Duke, Fredrick Misamore, Galen Oates, Vincent, David, Daniel and Delbert Duke, Shane Black and Clayton Hughes.
