Y teams with New Salisbury Golf Course

The YMCA of Harrison County has teamed with the New Salisbury Golf Course to offer golf lessons for those 14 and older.
John Black, the New Salisbury Golf Course’s director of golf, will have golf lessons at the course, located at 1320 Old S.R. 64 NE in New Salisbury on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. May 14 through 30.
The lessons, which will teach golf enthusiasts all aspects of the game, are designed to teach the basics of golf, including grip, stance, pitching, chipping, putting, driving and course etiquette.
The cost of the golf lessons are $100 for all six lessons for YMCA of Harrison County members and $120 for non-YMCA of Harrison County members.
Registration will take place at the YMCA of Harrison County in Corydon.
Participants should dress appropriately as lessons are outside, and they should bring a water bottle.
