Charlotte F. Hoback

Charlotte Flora Hoback, 98, Corydon, died Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Dec. 26, 1914, in Mauckport, she was the daughter of the late Ethal and Pearlie Richard Miller.
She was formerly employed at Keller Manufacturing Co. and Jock’s Lunch, both in Corydon, and was a member of Lincoln Hills Christian Church in Corydon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Hoback; a son, Dallas Keith Hoback; two daughters, Dollie Mae Hoback and Betty Carlene Crawford; a grandson, Todd Alan Hoback; seven brothers, Shelby Floyd, Marshall, Melvin, Riley, James, Wilbur and Sonnie Miller; and two sisters, Lenora Alta Faith and Violet Fern Miller.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Hoback of Clarksville and John Hoback of Mauckport; five daughters, Esther Coffman, Rebecca Shumaker and Barbara Smith, all of Corydon, Shirley Welman of Jeffersonville and Carolyn Hofmann of Palmyra; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, April 22, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, April 23, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, April 23, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Hyland Cemetery near Mauckport.
Officiants: Lawrence Hofmann and Vince Garmon.
Pallbearers: Dennis Coffman, Timmy and Dennis Hoback, Darren Welman, Jimmy Smith, Richard Crawford and Clinton Hofmann.
The family suggests memorial gifts to The Villas of Guerin Woods/PSSM or Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
