Shirley A. Whitehouse

Shirley A. Whitehouse, 74, Corydon, died Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
Born Sept. 16, 1938, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Estill Irvin and Pauline W. Price Whitaker.
Survivors include her husband, Paul E. Whitehouse; two sons, Vernon K. and Vinson W. Gehlbach, both of New Middletown; two daughters, Veronica Stocksdale and Valerie Anjulo, both of Corydon; a brother, Steve Whitaker of Louisville; two sisters, Priscilla Crosier of Linton and Janice Durr of Jeffersonville; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, April 20, from 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 21, from noon to 8 p.m. and Monday, April 22, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Monday, April 22, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with a graveside service at 2 p.m. Monday, April 22, at Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, Ky.
Officiant: Brother Steve Adams.
Pallbearers: Bryan and Brandon Gehlbach, Jacob Loftus, Neil Sprinkle, Chris Rochner and Jonathan Rose.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Alzheimer’s Association.
