Donald W. Thompson

Donald Wayne Thompson, 75, Salem, died Friday, April 12, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Jan. 17, 1938, in Salem, he was the son of the late Marvin and Dorothy Thompson.
He retired from the Air Force, was a veteran of the Vietnam War, retired from Farmer’s Citizens Bank in Pekin and Thompson Appraisal Services and was a member of Highway Church in Pekin.
Survivors include his wife, the former Martha Jean Pickerill; two sons, Gary and Brian Thompson, both of Pekin; two daughters, Debbie Stahl of Sellersburg and Donna Campbell of Pekin; a brother, Jon Thompson of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Jeanne Stalcup of Covington; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, April 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Monday, April 15, after 9 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral: Monday, April 15, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Martinsburg Cemetery.
