Ileen S. Wilson

Ileen Sego Wilson, 93, Corydon, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, N.C.
Born March 23, 1919, in Hart County, Ky., she was raised by an aunt and uncle after her mother’s untimely death.
She attended Western Kentucky University, earned a nursing degree from the Kentucky Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, worked full-time as a registered nurse in the operating room at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon and was a member of Corydon Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Morris Wilson, in 2000, and a son, John.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Wilson of San Antonio and Kathy Brooker of Durham; three grandsons; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, March 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Corydon Presbyterian Church.
Service: Sunday, March 24, at 4 p.m. at the church with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Corydon Presbyterian Church or the Wilson Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Harrison County Community Foundation.
