Virginia Patrick Jones, 89, Corydon, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born in Mullens, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Franklin D. Patrick and Viola Patrick Blankenship.
She was co-owner of Guyandotte Electric and Appliance Co. for 20 years, second vice president of Lomas & Nettleton in Virginia Beach, Va., from 1968 to 1985 and a member of the DAR, the Order of the Eastern Star and Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Jones, and a brother, Franklin E. Patrick.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia J. Sieg of Corydon; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, March 1, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 2, after 11 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, March 2, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: Pastor Andy Hanson.
