Norma Rose Willoughby, 79, Corydon, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Dec. 21, 1933, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Frieda Staehle Lutz.
She worked for the caterer at Churchill Downs for more than 30 years, was a real estate agent for Buzz Bauer, Blake and Biery in Corydon, volunteered for Meals on Wheels and was a member of the Corydon Church of Christ.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and seven sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Willie L. Willoughby; a son, Anthony W. Willoughby of New Salisbury; two daughters, Deborah Makepiece of Liberty Township, Ohio, and Pamela Willoughby of Decatur, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, Dec. 27, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 28, after 8 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, Dec. 28, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Blue River Chapel Cemetery west of Corydon.
Officiants: Ministers Marvin Purkhiser and Rodger Chaffin.
Pallbearers: Bill and Jamie Makepeace, Paul, Carter and Noah Chen and Eric Eaton.
