Janis D. Dunlap

Janis D. Dunlap, 81, Corydon, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Oct. 29, 1931, in Jeffersonville, she was the daughter of the late John Stewart and Ruth Burton Dunlap.
She was a retired home health care worker in Corydon, a former teacher’s aide at the Gerdon Youth Center in Corydon, a member of Lincoln Hills Christian Church in Corydon and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Allen and Byron Dunlap, and three sisters, Lois Glindmyer, Anita Callahan and Judith Shaw.
Survivors include a son, David E. Able of Charlestown; a daughter, Marion Smith of New Albany; four brothers, Kenneth, Gale, David and Michael Dunlap; a sister, Glenna Mehling; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral: At a later date at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
