Absentee, early voting underway

Ballots are being cast already for the Nov. 6 General Election.
Harrison County Clerk Sherry Brown said the absentee board is at the Harrison County Court House from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (excluding noon to 1 p.m. for lunch) Monday through Friday for persons who need to vote early.
The absentee board also will be at the courthouse from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (no lunch break) Saturday and again the following Saturday for voters to cast their ballots.
On Monday, Nov. 5, persons will be able to vote from 8 a.m. to noon, Brown said.
The deadline to submit an application to have an absentee ballot mailed is 4:30 p.m. Monday. Brown said the application can be found online at harrisoncounty.in.gov, or they can call the clerk’s office at 738-4289 and request one or they can pick up one here at the clerk’s office, which is located on the second floor of the Harrison County Court House.
