Kenneth (Paul) Farnsley, 74, Georgetown, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at his home.
Born Feb. 14, 1938, in Laconia, he was the son of the late John F. and Thelma Faye Davis Farnsley.
He was a retired employee of Beech Mold and Tool in New Albany, a school bus driver for the New Albany-Floyd County Consolidated School Corp. and a member of Georgetown Southern Baptist Church, where he was a deacon for more than 10 years.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first two wives, Nadyne Farnsley and Judith Farnsley; a brother, Jim Farnsley; and a sister, Mae Wood
Survivors include his wife, the former Patricia (Jeanie) Meredith; a son, Darren Farnsley of Georgetown; six daughters, Maureen Byrn, Cathy Wesner, Lori Green and Corenia Stewart, all of Georgetown, Jonna Farnsley of New Albany and Paula Chalcraft of Fairfield, Ill.; two brothers, Phillip Farnsley of Shelbyville and Steve Farnsley of Nevada; a sister, Thelma (Sunday) Beck of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, Aug. 25, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 26, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown and Monday, Aug. 27, after 9 a.m. at Georgetown Southern Baptist Church.
Funeral: Monday, Aug. 27, at 11 a.m. at the church with burial in Edwardsville Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Steve Cline.
