Marvin R. Williams

Marvin Ray Williams, 56, Orleans, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
Born Feb. 4, 1956, in Salem, he was a member of Orleans Baptist Church and Campbellsburg Gun Club and retired from Carpenter Body Works after 16 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Hazel Williams, and his stepmother, Delores Williams.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Alice Williams; two sons, Joseph Whittaker of Orleans and Dwayne Price of Seattle; a daughter, Brandy Tate of Tennessee; his father and stepmother, Robert and Judy Williams; two sisters, Sharon Nice of Salem and Linda Jenkins of Depauw; two stepbrothers, Brian and Jeff Durham, both of Campbellsburg; a stepsister, Sheila Gormley of Campbellsburg; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Aug. 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Aug. 15, after 9 a.m. at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home in Paoli.
Funeral: Wednesday, Aug. 15, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Fairview Cemetery in Orleans.
Officiant: The Rev. Bruce Hawkins.
