William A. Scott, 71, Corydon, died Monday, July 2, 2012, at his home.
Born Feb. 24, 1941, in Louisville, he was the son of the late Roy and Mildred Sidebottom Scott.
He was a production worker at Ford Motor Co., a 15-year volunteer for the American Red Cross, a 16-year member of HEART Humane Society and a 15-year volunteer with the 4-H Dog Club.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Scott, and two brothers, Robert and Fred Scott.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, the former Gloria Brown; two sons, Tim and Nick Scott, both of Corydon; a brother, David Scott of Springfield, Mo.; four sisters, Alene Haynes of Mitchell, Susan Willis of Seymour, Donna Moore of Henryville and Kathy Scott of Bedford; and two grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, July 6, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, July 7, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, July 7, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Officiant: The Rev. Scott Hill.
Pallbearers: David Moore, Rusty and Ron Scott, Shaun Berkley and Mark and Bill Keehn.
