Martha F. Norman

Martha Frances Lane Hill Norman, 94, Corydon, died Saturday, June 23, 2012, at 1:40 p.m. at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Oct. 6, 1917, in Liberty, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Sam Lane and Maggie Vandever.
She was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Joe Hill and Therell Norman; two children, Phyllis Jean and Wanda Sue; two stepsons, Billy and Randall Hill; two brothers, Roy and Mitchell Lane; and two sisters, Alma and Gracie Lane.
Survivors include seven children, Charles King of Daleville, Ala., Shirley Sturgeon and Betty Dorrell, both of Corydon, Larry Hill of Huntingburg, Wilma Hoffman of McAlester, Okla., Norma McMonigle of Mauckport and Donna Goodman of Jasper, Tenn., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, June 26, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, June 27, after 9 a.m. at Denbo Funeral Home in English.
Funeral: Wednesday, June 27, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Rowland-Potter Cemetery in Eckerty.
