Joseph A. Mullen

Joseph Albert Mullen, 77, Lanesville, died Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
He owned Structural Engineering & Design Consultants Inc. until he sold it in 1984, was a cattle farmer until 1992, then worked at Voice of God Recording as a building project manager as of 1998 and was a member and trustee of Branham Tabernacle.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheree Bickel; a grandchild, Jonathon Waynescott; a brother, Michael Mullen; a sister, Joyce Mullen; and his former wife, the former Carole VanBine, in 1993.
Survivors include his wife, the former Helen Bergland Borders; his two daughters, Cindy Seacat of Crandall and Heidi Waynescott of Depauw; seven sisters, Kay Kibby, Rebecca Marsh, Deborah Strauble and Nancy Bradford, all of Marion, Jane Mitchener, Lois Wolski of Topeka, Kan., and Patricia Mullen of Indianapolis; two stepsons, Stephen Borders of Florence, Ky., and Samuel Borders of Lanesville; a stepdaughter, Hannah Foster of Corydon; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, June 26, from 4 to 8 p.m. at E.M. Coots Sons Funeral Home in Jeffersonville.
Funeral: Wednesday, June 27, at 11 a.m. at Branham Tabernacle in Jeffersonville followed by burial in Perseverance Cemetery near Corydon.
