Deuser competes in Pro National Series

After a very promising 2011 rookie season in the Pro National Series, Corey Deuser is ready to begin his 2012 campaign with one goal in mind: winning the Pro National Series Championship.
To make the goal a reality, 14-year-old Deuser will have to fend off several other more experienced drivers, often competing against veterans 30 years his senior. The series also involved navigating several difficult tracks throughout the Midwest and South. The Georgetown native knows what it takes to compete with the best in the series.
‘My Deuser Motorsports team has worked very hard on the car throughout the off season,’ Deuser said. ‘This season we want to get to victory lane and win the championship, and I know we have what it takes to accomplish that goal.’
To win a championship in only his second season touring with the Pro National Series may seem like a tall order, but, for Deuser, winning has come early and often in his young career. He began his racing career in 2009 behind the wheel of a mini-cup car. In only three seasons racing his mini-cup car, Deuser racked up eight feature victories and claimed the 2011 IKO Series Championship. In 2011, he also began competing in the Baby Grand Series, where he found victory lane in his rookie season.
While Deuser has yet to reach victory lane in the Pro National Series, he came close several times throughout his 2011 rookie season. He earned several top five finishes with one second-place finish. With the experience gained throughout his rookie season and a couple of racing veterans leading his family-owned Deuser Motorsports Team, Deuser is confident his No. 14 car will find victory lane in 2012.
‘My crew chief, Jim Robinson, and car chief, Tobin Smith, are returning to the track with us again this year and have been working hard all winter to get ready for this season,’ Deuser said. ‘They really have put a lot of effort into the car, and I know we will be a threat every weekend.’
The team has also picked up the following sponsors: Deuser Electric Co., ARC Construction Management, Big O Tires, Sillings and Co., Tom Sondergeld Plumbing, and Winlectric.
‘Without all of their supports, this would not be possible,’ Deuser said. ‘I am looking forward to bringing them to victory lane.’
Deuser and his team kicked off the 2012 Pro National Series on April 15.
