Roberta W. Martin

Roberta (Bobbie) West Martin, 66, Corydon, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
Born April 14, 1946, in Corydon, she was the daughter of the late Walter Sr. and Mary Catherine O’Bryan West.
She was employed by the USDA as a federal food inspector at Tyson Foods in Corydon and a member of the VFW and American Legion.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Martin Sr.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Lee Dirck of Joliet, Ill., and Shannon Troy Dirck of Corydon; three brothers, Walter West of Georgetown, Jimmy West of New Salisbury and Bernie West of Corydon; four sisters, Christina Stroud of Paoli, Evelyn Hollrah of Georgetown, Paula Dirck of Corydon and Rosetta Parker of New Salisbury; and three grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, May 25, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, May 26, after 10 a.m. at Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany.
Memorial service: Saturday, May 26, at noon at the funeral home with interment of cremains in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
