Denver Ray Richard, 89, Mauckport, died Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born June 20, 1922, in Harrison County, he was the son of the late Paul D. and Beulah C. Shireman Richard.
He was a farmer, a former school bus driver for the South Harrison Community School Corp. and a member of First Capital Christian Church in Corydon.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Virginia Richard and Jason Carmichael.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, the former Wilma J. Wiseman; two sons, Patrick D. Richard of Shepherdsville, Ky., and Phillip D. Richard of Mauckport; a daughter, Pamela D. Carmichael of Mauckport; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, May 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 26, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 27, after 10 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Sunday, May 27, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Hyland Cemetery near Mauckport.
Officiants: Brothers Vince Garmon and Randy Kirk.
Pallbearers: Kelvin, Bradley and Danny Wiseman, Eric Fowler, Jamie Carney, J.P. Phillips and Jerry Timberlake.
The family suggests memorial gifts to First Capital Christian Church.
